AB, St.Paul - St.Paul Elementary School

Are you looking for ways to connect with like-minded educators who aspire to integrate various ways to use technology in the classroom? I invite you to attend an enriching Discovery Education event where educators will have the opportunity to participate in virtual conferences throughout the day along with being able to network face to face with fellow colleagues. This FREE event will take place at the St.Paul Elementary School in St.Paul Alberta, Canada. Lunch will be provided. Please register early as space is limited.


AK, Soldotna - K-Beach Elementary

AL, Gadsden - W. E. Striplin Elementary School - Let's GEO!

All educators are invited for a day filled with learning, laughter, food, and fun . We will have "appy" hour, geocache for money and educational prizes, and stream Discovery Ed's Virtual Conference. You are welcome to bring your laptop, iPad and earphones. Wifi will be available.



AZ, Phoenix - Desert Sands Middle School-Library

Our school is located within the Cartwright School District close to 67th Ave and Indian School. We will be using our Library which is not too far from our parking lot. Our library can accommodate up to 80 people so there will be plenty of room for learning and networking.


CA, Stockton - Blast Off to the Common Core

Join the Christa McAuliffe Middle School Staff for a FREE virtual mission to the "Common Core" Galaxy. Immediately following our pre-flight training with the DEN VirtCon sessions, participants of all ages will fly through a Discovery Educator Network (DEN) designed BINGO game that will help everyone experience what school is really like in the “Common Core” Galaxy.

Zenith is located just west of the Turnpike on 192 (East Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy) in Kissimmee. We are in the back of the shopping center. There is a Wawa just west of our school and the turnpike is just east of us.

ID, Idaho Falls - Idaho Falls VirtCon Extravaganza!

We will use the computer lab at Temple View Elementary so we can broadcast the keynotes and have individual pcs for the break out sessions. Come join for a great day of learning and sharing. Option for professional development credit through ISU will be offered.

Lunch is catered in (once we reach at least 5 participants) If you are an ABSS employee, please feel free to bring your school laptop. We will have laptops for other attendees to use.

YOU MUST BE AN EMPLOYEE OF BERKELEY COUNTY SCHOOLS TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. The Moncks Corner location of the Berkeley Library System is the perfect venue for digital learning and exploration. We will be serve a light breakfast, but space is limited, so sign up early!


TN, Franklin - FSSD Central Office Annex Room 3

The Franklin Special School District Central Office Annex building is located in the downtown area of Franklin, Tennessee. Our address is 1406 Cannon Street, Franklin, TN. We will be meeting in Room 3, which is our computer lab/training room. Our meeting time will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm CT.
